Biochemistry Phenylketouria and amino acid supplementation

A newborn with phenylketonuria is started on a strict phenyalanine restricted diet. Which of following amino acids must be supplemented to avoid negative nitrogen balance?
A Arginine
B Isolucine
C lysine
D Tryptophan
D Tyrosine

You have 2 Ds...So I will go with D2 which is Tyrosine.

So basically E. Tyrosine.

Tyrosine is essential in PKU.
