Kaplan Diagnostic Exam
I gave diagnostic exam of kaplan Q bank today...n got 67% :(
it was of total 150 Qs n 50 Qs per Block
I don't know is it good or bad....but Qs were harder n longer then in their Qbank....:o
any one who have tried this exam...or know about its correlation to actual USMLE score..kindly pls reply whether m good or bad :(

Thats really good... Unfortunately, it's not very predictive of anything.

Kaplan themselves will give you an estimate but I got a 45% on that exam when I started and they said you should take 3 months after you're done with the Kaplan course and that was very close to the truth. I'm pushing close to 65% on UW now and it has been 2 months - of course, all random timed blocks with unused questions.

You should be happy with your score because it implies you are almost ready. Use the analysis to find your weak points and then keep doing what you were doing otherwise :)

Good luck.

:) And thats how you get a 99 ;) Keep it up - your plan seems excellent. I meant ready in terms of you're on the right track. I know people who got high 90s who scored in the 60s on that Kaplan exam a month or so beforehand.
