a female newborn is delivered at 34wks gestation in an advanced care setting where special delivery systems are available. Diagnosis of Persistent Pulmonary hypertension is made. Considering that newborn can be carefully monitored for Methhemoglobinemia. which is appropriate therapy?
a) Desflurane
b) Hyperbaric O2
c) Nitrous oxide
d) oxygen dilute with helium
I did this question a couple of days ago (don't remember where though) and you haven't copied all of the possible answers they gave.
There's "nitric oxide" answer that is missing in your post and this is the correct answer.
I hope it's neither from free 150 nor NBME 11 as I haven't done them yet.
If it's from nbme indeed I think it's most probably from form 13 (I have done it few days ago so maybe that's why I remember the q).
