Default Female Reproductive occyte arrestment doubt
at puberty / before Ovulation - meiosis 1 prOphase (the ovum/oozyte is in the ovary)

after ovulation / before fertilization - meiosis 2 METaphase (the ovum/oozyte is in the uterus)

it might be an unconventional way to think about the stages but bear with me - is what i said right or wrong?

PS - considering fertilization occurs in the uterus.
