Kaplan Medical Kaplan medical ethics 100 cases

A friend gave me his book, he studied for his STEP1 a couple years ago so he didnt need it anymore, but its old. Its from the 2006 edition. I think the latest edition is from 2009. Do you think it is still useful? Would there be any big or important changes on medical ethics?

I heard you can read this book in 1-2 days and it will help a lot for bioethics questions for the step1

I wouldn't think it has changed too much

You don't even need the 2nd day - one day is enough to get through it.

Another good book is 'medical ethics 101' - it has newer questions which seem like the ones I found in UW...

Yes, i went ahead and read it. Took me a little more time though, but it is a very easy lecture, and gives the highlights needed for the step1.

i haven't read the 2006 one .....but i would recommend you to go for 2012 or atleast 2010 ..... i know there will be no such major difference ...but if you have the choice go for the most updated ones .....
