Warning! Change of exam pattern?

I heard a few weeks back, im not sure if they were rumours or authentic info, that USMLE exam pattern is changing in 2012 and they are combining step 1 with step 2 ck and step 2 cs with step 3. I checked on the ECFMG website and there was no news pertaining to such a change. Does anyone has any info regarding this?

I heard that rumour 3 years ago. I don't think there is any truth to it.

I read on their site that there is no truth to this rumor - The step 1 might become more clinical, but it will remain a separate basic sciences exam
