First of all NEVER do offline questions. You are never "learning" and god knows how old they are.

Just take it easy. Just forget about the exam.
Now you need to get above 230 and don't look at money. Buy Kaplan Qbank and buy USMLE Rx and buy USMLE World. We will do it once and do it properly! DO NOT GIVE YOUR EXAM IF YOU FEEL LIKE YOU'RE NOT READY. And remember everything from First Aid. Let's get that 260! ![]() |

Keep your head up and DON'T GIVE UP.
You have good advantages towards doing better on this one, now why do i say this....1. You were just a few points short of passing so you are really close. 2. You have experienced the exam twice so the format and system of questions is not new to you 3. You have been introduced to how the questions are asked, so you have a better way of structuring your study schedule this time around. If you are getting close to a passing usmle score from "offline uworld" or "nbme", imaging how much your score would increase if you actually do those online. So you are not in that bad of a shape as you might think, you just made some mistakes on your preparation strategy. What to do now. 1) Invest money and Purchase uworld qbank with uswa online, [questions are updated]. Add Usmlerx qbank to it just to get introduce to a different way of asking questions. 2) Purchase and take at least 2 NBMEs and make sure you are passing before taking your next exam. Which i know you will PASS. 3) Have faith, and motivate your self. Sometimes in this USMLE journey our minds are our greatest assets, it can make or break us. So think positively, do away with your fears. And see yourself passing it this next time. ---- As for the future and residency, no one said it will be easy, but do not let fear stop you from moving forward. Keep pushing and someday you will write your story on how you came from failing usmle twice to gaining residency of your choice. MIND YOU: I am not hear to give you a false sense of pride....i have met alot of medical students that are NUMBERS driven because the usmle competition is numbers driven when it comes to Step 1 scores, and they will flat out tell you to quit and give up because the competition is too stiff. I DONT BELIEVE IN THAT. I believe in people constantly working towards their goals and not giving, no matter how many failures. If medicine is truely your passion, you will stop at nothing to get it. Also know that it is in our failure we gain strength, it is in our downfalls we learn humbleness. SO PICK YOUR SELF UP DEAR FELLOW MEDICAL STUDENT AND PASS THIS EXAM ON YOUR NEXT ATTEMPT. Good luck!!! God Bless
