Thumbs Down I failed.

I'll try to keep this short. I had been trying on and off for the step 1 exam for over 3 years and after finally taking the exam last month I just saw the result and I failed. Badly. I got 165.
I cannot even begin to describe the feeling. Obviously my prep wasnít up to par at all. Looking back now there's a million things I should have done differently. Could have gotten better study partners, better time management etc.
This sucks. Big time. I feel like I donít know what to do and how to move forward. I thought I had done enough to at least pass but false hope is never a good thing it seems.
I honestly donít even know why I'm posting about this. I feel so angry at myself for not giving 100%.

I feel like I should try again. I donít know. Its barely been 24 hours since and I'm just overwhelmed by negativity at the moment. Any tips or suggestions and even criticisms are highly welcome. Thank you for taking your time to read this rant.

You need to pass the mock exams first If you cannot pass the NBME exams do not write. The NBME exam result is reliable . If you can pass it then pay up and sit the step 1 . Off line is useless. You need to pay for the exam . Your strategy is all wrong. Your understanding of how to go about it is wrong . It can be done . get some help . A paid tutor in India will help you. If you can't afford it - then I'll help you. My name is Prakash Soni .
