Default Study group 2019-2020

Assalamualikum,

Hello Dr. Shifa, hope all is well, this is Wasif, (Shadmani's brother).

I was wondering if you still want to study together. I have a study partner and we have decided to add a 3rd person into the mix for consistency. If you're still interested, we'd be delighted.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quick overview of our current study plan:

- We're currently doing a comprehensive FA'19 (First Aid - 2019) read, at a pace of ~3 pages/day.

* * - Simultaneously we solve previous topic's questions (subject-wise) on our own from offline-UW'16 (UWorld - 2016).

- We're now starting Renal pathology, and we will move forward in the exact order of FA'19, ie after Renal path., then we'll do Renal-pharm, then start reproductive embryo, then reproductive-anatomy etc. until the end of the book.

* *- So we predict the book will finish in the next month or so.

- After that, we will have a rapid review of FA's previous topics & shift gears, making UWorld a 1st priority.

- After completion, will give our NMBE & focus on weaker topics, & use additional sources if/when needed (eg Pathoma, 100cases by conrad fisher, First aid Rx qbank, etc).

- We have daily sessions over Skype.

- Questions we want to solve/review as a group, we can previously inform before our session, & go over them before/after FA's daily read.**

- Who ever is reading (as we take turns per page/question), shares his screen. Then after the page/question finishes, if there're any questions or additional points, there're added.

- Daily session are currently 6days/week, every morning, for ~2-3hrs.

- I currently take 1 day off every week, usually Thursday's session, & so we decided that is our weekend.

- If a 3rd person is added, eg you & him can discuss questions or previous topics if you want to have a session in the weekend. Then from Friday we resume our daily routine.

- If there're are any additional days we need off, a 24hrs. heads up to the group.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------**

If you're interested, I can go over our current study method in detail, and if you have suggestions, we can discuss that as well.

Please let us know, sooner the better. JZK!

Sincerely,

Wasif, Choudhury
