Actually, I used 2008 FA. I updated information from UW. I didn't find any big different. 2008 got almost everything but missing lots of HY points. I checked out 2011 FA, its full of mnemonics and unnecessary schematic diagrams.
I advice you to get the 2011 edition... what seems like little changes and editions going to appear in your exam. Dont waste ur effort on old version. If it was another book like kaplans or high yield wont mind, but for FA get the last edition.
good luck

Yep, this was the reason i got the latest version. There are some important things like a whole new page of fungi, for example. For sure you could go online and figure out all the latest changes and add them to your book if you have a lot of time, but this is one investment I think is worth it.
Its really not a big deal...If you have been looking at 2009 all along and have annotated some of it already - stick with it. Google "2010 First Aid pdf" and download it and at the end of your studying skim through if any changes have been made (which r not many).
2011 has many stuff left out from 2010 version as I've heard, so download 2010 version.
