Skin A Premalignant Scalp Lesion!

A 72 year old man comes to the clinic for his annual check up. He takes thiazide in the morning for his high blood pressure which is states is well controlled. His vital signs are HR: 73 BP: 130/75 T 36.9 RR 16.
His physical exam is normal except for his scalp as shown below;

This premalignant condition increases his changes of which of the following?

A. Malignant Melanoma
B. Paget Disease
C. Basal cell carcinoma
D. Squamous cell carcinoma
E. This condition does not premalignant

Answer is D. Squamous cell carcinoma and the precursor is actinic keratosis. Since this man is bald UV rays have contributed to this condition
