Blood When to give IV fluids and when to give blood for a bleeding pregnant patient
Ok this may sounds a silly question but I can't really make out the difference. Is there any set guidelines that we should follow. I know of course that if the patient is in shock and is losing a lot of blood then we then have to use blood but I am looking for specific red lines to follow.

Below 9mg for HB% and 30% for Hct % as i remember
