IM in mtb3

i know that the consensus is to do IM on mtb2, but i only have mtb3. What is the difference between the 2 of them in regards to IM?

dont worry about consensus ,IM in MTB3 is more concise and to the point.It may have less topics and less material in IM .But those topics can be very well complemented by Uworld and any other qbank u do .The key for this exam is doing questions and making an understanding towards questions rather than reading a book .go with MTB 3

So do you by any chance know the topics that are missing on mtb3?

No I dont know ,but major content is same on average.

hey are you guys doing only MTB or KLN as well?? How about if i skip KLN and do IM from MTB 2 and everything else from MTB 3?? will that be sufficient?? Im hating every page of KLN IM!!

Look man, I'm now reading Kaplan IM and truly the Kaplan IM info are divided into MTB2 and MTB3 so that we can buy both books, very unethical for Fisher to do this. anyways rather than reading two books, I'm reading Kaplan then checking MTB2 of the topic is there. If missing, I copy and paste that topic onto Word doc so that I can have Word doc of missing topics and MTB2 for my only review books then do tons of questions. Please don't take short cuts.

so you are saying that kaplan IM note is in mtb2 and 3? in other words, kaplan IM is a better book?
