MTB-2 and MTB-3 for CK Prep

I'm an IMG,,done with my step1-244
going to start preparation for step 2 ck,,

which one is better mtb 2 or 3?? i have one mtb,, how do i know if it is MTB-2 or MTB-3
it may sound silly,,but I'm really confused,,:

Use both... MTB 2 for IM and MTB 3 for the rest... It will say on the outside of the book if it is for Step 2 or Step 3

Should I make notes??? or just reading? I'm a bit confused aout it... it feels like writing on MTB is taking me soo much time

always make notes its helpful though i did not have time for mtb.its good if you can make notes.

i would suggest that you do what am doing. check the topics that are in Kaplan notes but not in MTB2 then cut and paste onto word doc. Me when im done Kaplan 1st reading, I will have about 200 pages of missing topics from Kaplan. The reason im doing this is because I dont want to read MTB3 and end up reading two books.
