Default Sweating Differential Diagnosis

It's prudent to ask about excessive sweating during the CS encounter.
Of course any disease that causes fever may cause sweating but there certain diseases that specifically associated with night sweats or excessive sweating with or without fever.
These are:
  • Tuberculosis
  • Lymphoma
  • Hyperthyroidism
  • Myocardial Infarction
  • Panic attacks
  • Pheochromocytoma
  • Carcinoid syndrome
  • Malaria
