I'm guessing most people on this forum are IMGs based on the posts I
read. I'm AMG MSIV expecting results along with you. It's been two months wait. Good luck to all.

My wife took the exam on October 19th and she hasn't gotten her results as of right now. I wonder if we are in for another week of this madness.

Is her scheduling permit still there? Check Oasis, the email took time for me, but i went directly to Oassis instead.
Some of the people in October havent got their results, so could be next week.

Well, there's not a link on the main website to the scheduling permit. However, when you go to the application information under CS there's a link that you can click that says it's to reprint the scheduling permit but there is a message saying it's not available because I'm not registered for step 2 CS.

my exam was on 19 Oct , didn't receive the results yet .
Based on previous threads , many people receive results on second or third Wednesday of reporting period , so keep it up !

I mean, I took it myself on Sept 10th, a few days before the period cutoff. My results were posted the very first day on their result calendar for my period even though I took it at the very end. So I truly was expecting my wife's results.

Hi guys,

IMG here, took exam on Sep 28 and didn't get the result last week, my CS eligibility period expired on Nov 9.

When I try to create a new CS exam application, its allowing me to do it. Does it mean I failed??

I tried to create a new step 1 application and it says our computer records indicate you have passed this step component.

I am terrified. Is it allowing me to create a new application since my eligibility period expired or since I failed??

Any past experiences of ppl who ended up passing even after being allowed to create a new application, does it imply anything?

Look forward to anyone replying, I am very worried.

Reading the previous threads , I think same situation happened to someone who turned out to be successful . Just wait patiently for the results next Wednesday like anyone else.

i don't think it means anything, some ppl who took exam after me got their results. Don't know how the results are released but getting result late doesn't mean fail from what i learned.

Fingers crossed, very worried myself. Wish u well

So i am worried because i have completely messed up 1 case, 1 case i didnt know what the patient had. And 1 case i think i missed the most likely diagnosis but the differentials i had were reasonable. Any mistakes u are worried about liddu?

Ya i am worried about the differentials I put in for 4-5 cases. I don't know how worth they are. I put in different diagnosis for those cases compared to others. I am stressed about this part, rest of stuff I think went OK. I am hoping for a positive outcome. Very horrible wait this is.

Got my result and passed.Thankyou God

To all those who will watch this in future, i thought i will end up failing. It was almost 3 months since i took exam.. went through a lot of torture.

I missed a lot of differentials in 4-5 cases did alright in the other stuff. This exam is definitely leniently graded.

God has been kind. For those who are stressed out coming out of exam, if u come across this post.. I hope it will make u feel better.

Thankyou

Smile Passed - got results earlier today

Passed. IMG. This was my second time so I'm very grateful to God. Did Gold course which was excellent. Strongly recommend this course to anyone who wants to pass. I'm sure this course made all the difference.
The waiting was terrible and I was a bit worried. I didn't finish all my notes and missed main dx for 1 case. To those who didn't pass I want to encourage you not to give up.

Hi

Hux Sept 19th. There was a problem at my center during the exam and they were unable to register one of my stations. I had to sit in a proxy station due to which I completed 13 stations in total. Exam was fine with the exception of minor mistakes.

A friend of mine who took her exam the same day same center got her results today and she passed.

Should i get prepared for the worse? Step 1 in a month and this wait is killing me...

I think best thing to do in your case is to totally forget CS result for now : step 1 is no easy exam . I am in a similar situation my CK is in late January , haven't had my result till now , and it seems we will not get it next week as well (since it is Christmas week) . So best thing is to totally forget the result and better focus to use those 15 days of wait ahead of us.

Does this usually happen in your knowledge? That you receive your result later than the people that have taken the exam on same day and same centre yet you pass? What does this delay signify in general? It'll be great if you could throw some light on that.

I read somewhere that results for 90% of people are posted on the first day of results period. The other 10% are people who took the exam at the latest part of the exam period or people whose exam is being double checked because of irregularities on exam day and so on.. I also think they simply hold back on certain people at random..

I took my exam on Sept 10th and got my results on the first day even though I took the exam 4 days before the period closed. My wife now took it on October 19th (relatively early) and her results have not come out as of today.. I initially thought maybe not getting results on 1st day meant you failed or something but I've heard from so many people passing today on this forum that I think that's out of the question...

I guess we are just a lucky group of people who simply didn't get their results early.

Thankyou
congratulations

Lol.. I've heard them mention that's a possibility but seeing it actually happen is the first time. Honestly, I think an SP called in sick for that day and they had to replace him/her somehow.
