I am a graduate of Dec 2012 and gave my step 2 cs in June 2013. Can't say what went wrong , but I only be able to clear English language(SEP) part. I studied about 6 weeks and made few mistakes , from what I can recall . I didn't give any other step so far , just preparing for my step 1 for now.I was so sure that am going to pass :rolleyes:My question is what are the chances of getting residency in IM or FM after failed a step 2 cs. I am really disheartened and can't focus on my step 1 because I never failed any exam in my life . Should I prepare for steps or that is the no go area for me , because it supposed to be the easiest step. I heard that people who have more than 1 attempt in their step don't get the IV until they have contacts. advice . One thing more I have 2 US LORs , one from V.president of the hospital and 3 months USCE . Please give me the genuine ??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weird things happen...

Hello, are you a US citizen?
Im so sorry to hear about it. You have 3 months of USCE, something must have gone terribly wrong that made you fail CS. Did you study with a study partner?
It's always better to study with a partner and practice. Benefits both sides.
Did you give your step 1 yet?
I wish you best of luck. You should definitely go for CS again and get good scores on step 1 and CK.
Best.
