Default extra time

Hi everyone, I want to know, if we finish patient encounter early, do we get extra time, ie more than 10 min for Patient note??
Can we use, abbreviations like PUD, MDD , GAD, TB in writing DD's

thanks

Hello doc,
Every live standardized patient encounter is 25 minutes in length (encounter is 15 minutes long + patient note is 10 minutes). If you complete the encounter in less than 15 minutes the remaining time will be placed on the time for the note. Yes, you can use abbreviations and there is a list of accepted abbreviations on the USMLE.org website. There are many more abbreviations that are not listed that are accepted. When providing your differential diagnoses, please do not use abbreviations. When is your CS exam scheduled for? Are you completing your notes in under 10 minutes?
