Default USMLE step 3 experience

I was anxiously waiting for result, therefore I tested the theory of disappearance of Scheduling permit link. I checked the website on Monday morning of third week after my exam, and yes, the permit link was not there. Although my eligibility period is still valid till end of September. Its time to give back to this forum and here is my experience.

Duration: One and half month intense preparation.
MTB 3 only: once
Uworld Qbank: once
Kaplan Qbank: IM only once
Uworld CCS 51 cases: thrice ( I did not use uworld "Read-out" cases or Archer cases/Videos)
Fred 6 cases: twice
NBME 3: 380 - three weeks before exam
UWSA: 209 - 10 days before exam
Fred 150 MCQ's: 1 week before - 68%
Biostatistics: 25$ uworld subscription, first aid step 1
Real score: 205

Exam Experience:
Day 1 - FIP: Expect lots of Biostatistics including plain calculations, drug ads were time consuming so I randomly chose answers for them. Rest was just like step 2 CK >> step 1.

Day 2 - ACM + CCS: ACM tests management, prognosis, complications, risk factors; I was stuck between two options in many questions.
For CCS: Practise is the key, alongwith logical thinking to make a list of orders, according to your differential diagnosis. I screwed up one case, and in rest of the cases I was able to diagnose and manage/monitor them.
I would advise ordering test focusing on the complaint, as mentioned in FRED usmle software.

In retrospect, I strongly advise to do Uworld MCQ's/CCS twice, specially tables. If I had more time, I would have definitely done Uworld twice. Thank God, I am able to pass this beast. I am not a resident. Hope it helps.
