Default 7 year rule, help is appreciated!

Would appreciate any help or tips I can get!

Due to health issues, I had to postpone taking my Step 3 and applying. For the 7 year rule, this is the last year that I can take the exam. I work full time but will be taking a break June and July to be able to take my exam in August (7 year deadline is Sept end). I took my CK in 2014, so I am definitely out of touch.

I am wondering if anyone else here has been able to prep for Step 3 with 8-10 hrs of dedicated in two months after being out of touch for so long?

I do plan to study an hr a day or more whenever possible the next two months as well.

And if there are any tips?

I plan to use MTB and uworld.
