The following heart tissue sample was taken from an 13-year-old patient with fever, abdominal pain, chest pain, shortness of breath, arthralgia in right knee and left wrist, epistaxis, skin eruption on the trunk and upper part of the arms or legs, and peripheral edema which happened 3 weeks following sore throat and fever. Patient died 5 days after admission because of heart failure.
