Yrs since grad/ does indian diploma count?

HI all..
Im currently preparing for step 1..was wondering abt the "yrs since grad" cutoff... i graduated from MBBS in march 2010. Between 2011-2013 i did a diploma in fam med (but in distance) ... so does it count as a graduation or post-graduation?
if im aiming for 2014 match, (i.e. applying in sept 2013) how many yrs since grad am i?
plz help!!!

Your graduation from school
But diploma or any activity will help with programs who donot care about yog

..My doubt now is :from med school grad day UPTO WHEN IS YRS SINCE GRAD DAY calculated?
Im planning for 2014 match: is it counted like..

A) March 2010 to Sept 2013 (application date) = 3.5 yrs since grad

OR

B) March 2010 to March 2014 ( match date) = 4 yrs since grad

The day when he will see ur application

During September , November when he ll decide to send u the interview invitation

unless they have a filter for YOG, you don't need to worry about when you graduated... And if there is any particular program that you are interested in, you can always always call them and let them know.

If they see your application ie no filter situation, they are going to realize that you haven't been whiling away your life
