NBME 12: 165
NBME 5: 205
NBME 7: 214

I scheduled my exam 3 weeks from now, planning to take my final NBME during this week.

If you were in my shoes, which NBME would you choose to do?

hey, i would definitely take 13!! 1 because its newer, 2 because its harder and 3 because its nt actually available offline!!

when i say harder, i mean thats how i found it. You have already taken 12online. and i think 11 and 12 are very similar. I actually found 11 easier than 12.

And you can always do 11 offline if you want to!

Good luck!

My friend's last 2 nbmes are 11 and 13. She both took them 2 weeks before the exam. First, nbme 13 and then the next day, nbme 11.

nbme 13 = 235
nbme 11 = 244
step 1 score = 240

You might want to go for 11 bec. it will boost your confidence, but I still vote for nbme 13. There are similar questions in form 13 and in the actual exam esp. in beh. sci. For example, the type of question that asks "which risk factor contributed the most to this disease?" It's also newer and, thus, reflects the exam more. (Personally, I think it does.)

You don't have to fear form 13. It's a fair exam. Surprisingly, UWSAs are even harder than nbme 13. I know other people who agree with me on this. Uwsas over predict only bec. they have more liberal scoring. For example, 40 mistakes still translate to a 250+.

You might also want to consider doing both in the same day. Simulate the exam (including breaks) for the last time. It's expensive but it's good training. You can not mimic the exam more than doing form 13 with form 11, 12 or free 150.

Good luck!! :)
