can anyone explain to me why hydralazine used in nephrogenic DI as it is diuretics and in nephrogenic DI , pt . has diuresis so how it is used ??what is the mechanism???

my guess is: similar to thiazide (diuretic used to treat NDI PARADOXICALLY) it will lower blood pressure hence decrease in GFR which will stimulate RAS mechanism.
This will increase aldosterone and hence water retension for volume depleted NDI patient.
the fact that this is PARADOX situation, will help u memorize easier.
