I think you guys should go ahead & apply.
1st & foremost,you are certified within 5 days from the day you pass the last of the 1st 3 steps but the paperwork gets to you within 3 weeks.
On the other hand, you can call ecfmg to confirm though I got this info from them.

 

Thanks blade.. but does it really take them 3 weeks to process our application?
and one more thing, is the date of ECFMG certification same as the day of declaration of the result of the last step or it is different?

I just called them up...they told me that it will take them 10 days to issue me a certificate...and then it will take may be a week to reach me..

Then FSMB will take time to process the application..

I think they will ruin my plans of taking step 3 before october.

 

JUSt relax!! you are registering for step 3 for sur on old pattern..let me guide you..your result came on 18 and you will be ecfmg certified within 4-5 days from now or maximum on 2nd july(2 weeks is max time )..After that you just do the online application, that requires your ecfmg certication date...it takes 10 min..in that you get CID form..just notarise it and post to fsmb , it will reach on 10 th july at max, so just chill out..you dont need hard copy of ecfmg certicate for applying step 3 though it will aslso reach within 3-4 the day you are certified..Still if you feel anxious then call ecfmg to accelerate your process of ecfmg certification though you dont need that..thanks

I was emailed back from FSMB and told that i need to register for licensure from the state that i will be writing the exam in.
That process is taking a very long time, they also need your foreign credentials verified via FCVS!
I doubt the entire process will be completed before July 18th.
Hope i get a refund on the exam fee!!

Hey, which state did you apply for?
Didn't you choose a state which doesnot requires any licencure?

 

hey guys , plz guide me , as all of you , i wanna apply for step 3 as i am reading you posts , did not understand what to do first , i received my cs exam result on june 18 and i am waiting the certificate for my application ,
would plz write step by step what to do and which website i apply for step 3 on line application ,
i need your help as you guys , bc there is no time to wait the certificate

If your ecfmg certificate has been issued then you can apply online for step 3 and send the form afterwards.

 

did not issue yet, i am waiting .what should i do before , can i have account and set all information without submit,

 

I don't think that will help you because online application take less than 30 minutes once you have the ecfmg issue date and credit card

So just or call them that when they are going to issue it.
