Strep agalactiae - CAMP factor

I understand that CAMP factor is normally produced by Strep agalactiae and this factor enlarges the area of hemolysis of S. aureus.

What is the significance of this information from a clinical / diagnostic point of view? Does it mean I can use this cross reaction to confirm infection by either bacteria?
